Managed Service Providers Benefits

optimized-istock_000016987294small

Managed Service Providers can decrease the overall IT support costs of small to medium sized businesses (SMBs) by as much as 30% to 50%. While a managed service provider can most assuredly assume full responsibility for IT operations, and operate as a remote IT department if desired, they can also be a valuable asset to an in-house technician or team. MSPs can support existing internal IT staff by taking on the more routine proactive and reactive daily responsibilities. Many of which can be automated. This allows in-house IT personnel to focus more on the company’s business needs and revenue generating projects. How Dropbox Saved My Bacon!

by Chad King

The meeting was set. I was ready. The proposal was done… and still on the printer in my office. Uh-oh.

But alas, all was not lost! Fortunately, I saved it in a dropbox folder that also syncs to my phone. I pulled up the latest version of my proposal, e-mailed it to my contact at the client site, she printed it for me, and my mini crisis was averted. Life on the go is good!

I preach mobile effectiveness to our clients all the time. Thank goodness I practice what I preach…

Oh, and in case you’re wondering (I would be), yes, we won the deal! I now have a great new client and a great new example of how being smart with technology makes business (and life) easier.
