Cognoscape CEO and Owner Charles Tholen Added to CompTIA Executive Council
Cognoscape CEO and Owner, Charles Tholen, was recently added to the IT Security Community Executive Council at CompTIA. As an Executive Council member, Charles is able to directly and indirectly use his wealth of knowledge and experience running Cognoscape to help other members of the CompTIA community.
CompTIA is the voice of the world’s information technology (IT) industry and operates as a non-profit trade association. The goal of CompTIA and its members include advancing the global interests of IT professionals and IT channel organizations. It’s accomplished by providing industry-leading IT certifications and IT business credentials, IT education, resources, and the ability to connect with like-minded, leading IT industry experts.
The Board of Directors is made up of top executives and thought-leaders working in various esteemed positions within the IT channel. The board helps guide the trade association and the IT industry at large. The executive staff helps manage the operations of CompTIA, which includes membership, education, certification, advocacy and philanthropy programs, as well as finance, marketing, legal, and information technology departments.
Charles will be heavily involved in working with others within the IT industry to ensure they have what they need to be successful.
